I've been yearning to put my blog into gear but I haven't been able to find the right camera. I am not a photographer. I am not a camera expert, nor am I a technologically sound individual. I actually need to buy "Today's Technology for Dummies", if there is such a book. But I am a perfectionist. This is my problem. No, it is not like I feel the need to be "perfect". I actually don't think perfection actually exists in the real world but I like things to feel completed exactly the way I'd hope for. This leads to my headache. I have researched several cameras for my "bloggin" needs. I am looking for the camera that calls to me and says, "hey chick, pick me." No success. I need the right camera for fashion photography, self portrait, video recording, etc etc. My budget is a merely $700 and not a penny more. It's a major issue according to most "camera pushers" I've talked to. Even the creepy guy at Best Buy says if I want HD I gotta be willing to pay. I feel like I outta march right up to some trench coat wearing sidewalk merchant that just happens to have a backroom full of shelves stocked with cameras that fell off the back of the truck. Maybe then I'd get a reasonable price. Oh well, the search continues.
- In the meantime check out these awesome retro inspired camera rings I found...
Bloggin fun coming soon.
Much LOVE, Ashantico
Where did you find them? I really like them. And btw don't worry so much about the camera. One of the best fashion bloggers still takes her pictures with her call phone!
ReplyDeleteThe vintage camera rings are from Etsy.com. I found quite a few handmade vintage inspired jewelry on there. It's a great site to find many unique things. Very true, I am thinking about just using my digital camera until I can afford a better one. I just really love the quality and detail of the photographs the more expensive cameras create. One day I hope. Thank you for visiting my blog! :)
